June 11-13, 2006
Location: Omni Hotel, Newport News, VA
NSF PFI Discussions
In February of this year, the National Science Foundation funded six colleges and universities in Virginia for the creation of a graduate engineering course sharing program. The universities have committed themselves to initiation of the course sharing activities in January 2007. By mid-August this year, the schools will produce a long-range plan of course sharing for the program. The three meetings scheduled for Monday evening June 12th are opportunities for interested parties to discuss which courses should be shared across Virginia in Nanomanufacturing, Nanomaterials & Characterization, and Nanomodeling & Simulation. All interested meeting participants are invited to attend these open discussions.
