EGMN 591: Special Topic:  Security Science

The Security Science course will cover the science of security system design and evaluation. Topics that will be covered include defining the design basis threat, characterizing physical protection systems, and evaluating detection, delay, and neutralization capabilities of a high value target, such as nuclear facilities. Knowledge gained from this course will allow the students to better implement, critique, and appreciate security systems throughout all aspects of their life.
