EGMN 591 - Special Topic: Introduction to Statistical Quality & Process Control

This course will introduce the student to major aspects of using a statistical methodology for quality control and process improvement. Using a combination of lecture, in-class activities and a group project, students will learn how to use statistical tools to obtain information for characterization systems, improving manufacturing processes, design and develop new processes and products as well as identifying process improvement opportunities to increase organizational productivity.
