EGMN 575: FAST BREEDER REACTORS

This course will examine the physical, technical and economic features of fast breeder reactors. In particular, the course will study the need for fast reactors and their design objectives, typical core design principles, and important plant systems. The course will also discuss the major nuclear safety topics and their design approaches.
